((someone i follow is in an RP of sorts that…well…i dont even wanna think about it. so i’m taking a week off. and when i get back, everything between the start of february, and the day i get back, is retconned from Aurora’s canon. she will have not done, or seen, or heard anything in that time…effectively being asleep. ALL of that will be like it never happened as far as it goes for her. ALL. new relationships, broken ones, you get the idea.

The full text of the original post is kept in one piece, and when reposted to your blog your followers and visitors will get to read the whole thing without having to follow a link elsewhere. It’s nice and tidy, and when you have something important to say (whether it’s an urgent news article or delicious recipes) it gets the message across without relevant information being lost to the ellipsis.
this is highly useful information, for sure. but, it’s missing a fine detail. when using this info for RPs, do your followers a favor. clean up each new post so you keep the entire post rather small. erase enough parts of a reblog chain till only four posts are left, counting your addition. this goes for any reblog chains, really.
so, remember, reblog chains should stay small. last four reblog additions at best.
